What I have been doing

The weather has been so great here so I have spent a lot of my time outside, stacking firewood, playing in the snow, getting four wheeler rides,and just breathing in fresh air. All of us girls have also been doing a lot of cooking, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and reading. We got our CHRISTMAS TREE on Sunday!! I love getting our Christmas tree early, but daddy doesn't so we usually wait until the middle of December, but he surprised us this year and let us get it 3 days after Thanksgiving!! That put me right in the Christmas mood and so we are now getting Christmas gifts wrapped and put under the tree. I still have some sewing projects to do, but I have mostly all my gifts done!!! I love getting them done early so I don't have to be so rushed right before Christmas. I hope that you all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!                                            

Take My Life...

I love the song, Take My Life and Let It Be. It describes exactly what I want God to do with my life! My favorite verse is verse 5:   Take my will and make it Thine- It shall be no longer mine; Take my heart- it is Thine own, It shall be Thy royal throne, It shall be Thy royal throne.   I want God to take my life, my soul, my heart, my everything and make them his because I know that he can do more with them than I can.
